The result is stronger support for people experiencing Family and Domestic Violence.

The Imagined Futures Community of Practice recently hosted an interactive Understanding Family and Domestic Violence training session for frontline workers across the South West Metropolitan region.

Led by 360 Health + Community and Patricia Giles Centre for Non-Violence, the session explored signs of abuse and practical, safe ways to respond. Thank you to facilitators Sue Nickisson and Aarti Gupta for sharing their expertise and guiding this important conversation.

We welcomed 20 participants from 14 organisations across local government, not-for-profit agencies, education, community, health and other local services. Thank you also to the City of Fremantle for generously providing the venue.

Participants described the workshop as “very informative”, “insightful” and “a great workshop”.

Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support children, families and communities with care, safety and respect.
