Over the past 18 months, 114 frontline workers from 37 agencies have taken part in Imagined Futures’ Exploring Burnout and Activating Self-Care workshops – and the shift has been real.

Participants are leaving with greater confidence, clearer boundaries and practical strategies they’re already putting into practice. Just as importantly, they’ve had space to connect across roles and organisations – and to normalise honest conversations about burnout, stress and sustainability.

A huge part of this impact has been Romy Pritchard from RDP Enterprise Solutions. Her facilitation turns insight into action, creating the kind of environment where people can reflect deeply, share openly and walk away with tools they’ll actually use.

What we’re hearing is clear:
· People feel more equipped to manage stress and prevent burnout
· They are rethinking how they show up in their roles
· And they’re taking practical steps toward more sustainable ways of working

As one participant shared:

“It was brilliant and inspiring… motivated me to see my work as an extension of my whole self.”

We’re grateful to Neami National and the City of Melville for backing this work, and to Romy for delivering it in a way that truly makes a difference.
