Emergency Relief and Food Access Service
The Emergency Relief and Food Access Service (ERFAS) can help you put food on your table, pay rent or keep up with your bills and help you access local support.
The service operates 9.30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
Before you make the call, have the following ready so we are able to assist:
- A form of identification, such as your driver’s license.
- Your Medicare card or Centrelink card.
- Any overdue bills, if you are seeking assistance with these.
* You may be eligible for emergency relief even if you’re not receiving Centrelink income support.
