Y-Shac provides crisis accommodation for young people aged 15-20 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They also offer transitional housing for those aged 16-25.

Young people may need emergency accommodation due to:

  • Unstable home or family life
  • Family or relationship breakdown
  • Eviction or rising living costs
  • Risk of crime, drugs, or violence
  • Financial issues
  • Complex needs
  • Leaving correctional facilities

Services include:

  • Shared emergency accommodation in Perth with 24/7 youth worker support
  • Transitional housing in Rockingham or Cockburn
  • Support to get back on their feet, including advocacy and referrals
