The Financial Wellbeing Collective are a one stop shop for financial support. All services are FREE and everyone is eligible for financial counselling. Call the Financial Wellbeing Collective to book an appointment with a financial counsellor in your local area.
Services include:
Financial Counselling - whether you’re having trouble paying bills, affording basic necessities, struggling with debt or just want to manage your budget better, a Financial Counsellor can:
- support you to develop a budget;
- advocate and negotiate with creditors (eg - bills with utility providers or loans from banks/other lenders);
- provide information about government assistance, including emergency relief payments;
- provide advice on debt collection, credit cards; and
- provide advice on financial abuse.
Emergency Relief - If you are facing financial hardship and struggling to put food on the table or keep up with bills, you access support near you through the Emergency Relief and Food Access Service (ERFAS).
Financial Coaching - once you have got back on track with your finances, a financial coach can work with you to develop strategies to improve your long term financial resilience.
